A Before and After!

A discarded TV cabinet from my son, Josh...
.... becomes a place to hide all the TV equipment and anything else! Here's an older post I did about redoing an old corner cabinet and making it into a TV cabinet.
I tried the new ONE paint with the paint and primer all in one!  I really, really liked it! It went on in only two coats and loved the way it covered! I used a satin finish in antique white. I have to say that the yellow walls are not as dark as my camera shows. It's really a much lighter yellow!!!
Now, I have a new place to display more stuff!

I'm linking to Metamorphosis Monday at Between Naps on the Porch and
the Paint Party at My Romantic Home!

Beautiful. The paint makes it look like a whole new piece of furniture. I especially enjoy how the top can be used for displays. I'm constantly scouring surfaces for vignette displays. Have a lovely weekend!

Love that idea! You did a great job. You inspired me to make a change to my sons dresser that I was going to sell in a yardsale. Thank you Janet!

love this piece! useful, beautiful. you did a great job and i'll bet your son wants it back now. wink.

love that kind of paint (paint and primer all in one). yesterday i used annie sloan's paint (miss mustard seed introduced us) and **oh my goodness** where has this paint been all my life?! it's also a product of primer/paint. painted five items (frames, etc) and used only a spattering of the paint. amazing stuff. will blog about it this week.

Love what you did with that armoire.
I have one very similiar to it, and would love for it to be white. Hubby not so much!! lol

I will definitely be showing him your prize and seeing what he thinks.
Actually, our whole bedroom set is that color and I would love to paint it all white, course, that would be quite the undertaking, so.........
we'll see!! lol

Great job, looks great in your room, and really liked the way you
accessorized the top.
Blessings, Nellie
