This little white green chair has been sitting in my kitchen for quite some time now. However, it use to be white! Sometimes...I don't know what comes over me...I will suddenly go grab some paint from the garage and redo something right on the spur of the moment! This happens a lot to me and there must be a name for it...maybe impulsive? My kids said, wasn't that chair white? No, I say...it's always been green! Really, Mom? You would think my family would be use to me by now!
I just knew this little chair really wanted to be green! By the way, YES, it was a yard sale find! The color is Bleached Spruce by Valspar and I painted my coffee table this color on a previous post Apple Green.
A little idea I found on Pinterest!
I had a teapot lid and absolutely no idea what to do with it...since I didn't have the teapot! I already had the little whatchamacallit and so just wrapped it around the top!
Added a little card I made from Graphics Fairy using mom's typewriter font which I love!
Hope everyone has a blessed day!

I think you are really creative...I love the top of the tea pot idea! Love also the chair, looks so sturdy and I really love the color! I think you were right, it really did want to be green. ;)
I love the little green chair- I am apt to do the same thing on a moment's notice! What a sweet idea with the teapot lid! xo Diana
That sweet chair gives a whole new meaning to "go green". I lovt it! So very cottage chic.
You have an amazing eye for decorating my friend.

That is such a sweet chair and I just love it in that pretty shade of green!
I love this little green chair and looks so pretty with the flowers on it. Your blog is so sweet--I need to go become your newest follower!
Love your teapot lid. I've made some of those card stands with old silver salt and pepper shakers, and old white door knobs. Have a wonderful weekend.
Your little green chair is adorable and the perfect shade of green.
That chair is so danged perfect, I absolutely LOVE it - and the way you showed it with the pitcher of daisies, just so awesome.
As for your teapot lid - that's just brilliant. What a GREAT idea.
People are so clever, I swear!
Have a wonderful weekend!
Love that chair! It really did need to be that shade of green. I do the same thing on a moment's notice all the time. I have several pieces of furniture that have at least a dozen coats of paint on them.
What a great idea for the orphan teapot lid. I have a bunch of those.
Your green chair is adorable! I love your blog! I'm your newest friend!
I'm completely smitten with your sweet little chair. That green is a perfect color!! You always put together the best vignettes.
Oooh Jantet, that color is soooo pretty. I love, love, love green especially that apple/pear green. Your little chair looks absolutely beautiful. And I love the idea of the card holder made from a teapot lid. I have and extra silver plated creamer lid I can probably do that with...Thanks for the inspiration my friend. Hope you had a wonderful weekend and wishing you an awesome new week.
Hugs and Kisses,
♥Ana

Janet,
You're always working on some creative project. I love your little green chair, and yes, I think it looks better green than white. Every time I come to visit you give me inspiration to start decorating my own home. Happy Easter to you, and may you be with all your loved ones on this blessed day.

I love your little green (white) chair. I know what you mean about grabbing paint and changing things up. I have a bench that has been so many colors over the years.
I love the wallpaper behind the chair. It is so similar to the paper in my kitchen in my last house.
What a great chair!!!
So happy to have found you!!!
I invite you to visit my world as well!!!
Happy Holy Week !!!
Blessings Lori
