This candelabra lamp is my most recent redo project from a yard sale find!
This is the way it looked when I found it at a yard sale for $8.00. The wiring seemed to be old though, so my husband had to rewire it for me. I knew I would be painting the lamp white, but wasn't quite sure what to do about shades. But, when I was in Hobby Lobby the other day....
I found these cute little shades on sale for 50% off! I thought they would look perfect with the vintage script graphic I used on the candle covers. I was inspired by Rebecca at A Gathering Place and what she did using this vintage graphic on her recent lamp makeover. Everything she does is amazing and I am always inspired by her endless creativity!
So here it is all finished!
Of course, I had to make a new vignette for the table to go with my new lamp!

That turned out really cute, Janet. It doesn't even look like the same lamp. I love the shades, too- xo Diana

Darling!!! The shades are absolutely perfect and adding the vintage script graphic on the candle covers...pure brilliance! What a great makeover.

I love Hobby Lobby for their selection of chandelier shades... and the prices are fabulous! You did a great job redoing this and it turned out beautifully! Love seeing what you're up to!
Darling! May I feature your lamp Before & After in an upcoming post? Such a great idea for an old lamp. -- Jan
How clever! Lovely transformation. Thanks for sharing :)
I found your blog via Counting Your Blessings - Lovely Blogs. The photo of the yellow walls, white sofa and colorful accents could be a room in my house.
Enjoyed reading your blog, lots of lessons and inspirations to glean at.
